It is a pleasure to meet you! My name is Brianna and I am a self-taught artist. I started clay sculpting in 2018 as a tool to unwind after a stressful day. Seeing beautiful pieces of artwork and watching videos taught me various techniques and I fell in love with the learning process and watching something go from a lump of foil and wire into something with a personality, a life, an attitude. I have had failures and I am not afraid to post them and learn from each creation. Each one holds a place in my heart and brings me joy and it is something I hope to give to buyers who see my sculptures as well. I fell in love with creating dragons and foxes, though I enjoy trying new things such as spiders and other insects and creatures and pushing my limits.   Some have asked me about my shop name and it actually took me a while to find it. I knew I wanted something with 'clay' in the name, as that is the main form of material that I use. I wanted to make sure I incorporate everything I could to give customers the best description of my shop. 'Leaf' came about because I was making several leaves for a project and my entire art career started off with me doodling leaves all over my notes. I also liked the dual nature of the definition; one a part of nature, and the other to sift through things like pages, as I leaf through different chapters of my creating ability. Most of my clay starts off as a thin piece of clay, a leaf of clay. And from that, it just came together to form: ClayLeafCreations. ​ Thank you for being part of that journey with me!
